Prince Harry’s ex girlfriend Cressida Bonas will be getting married soon, and he is expected to attend. However, a royal commentator recently said that he is not so sure about Meghan Markle attending because she is known to be less comfortable with her husband’s exes.
Bonas got engaged to Harry Wentworth Stanley last week. Invitations haven’t yet been sent, but Prince Harry and Markle are expected to be invited.
Royal commentator Adam Helliker told The Sun recently that Prince Harry will “definitely go.” Although he and Bonas broke up, they have been on friendly terms with each other. Helliker also pointed out that Bonas has never spoken about her two-year relationship with the press.
Prince Harry is also friendly with Bonas’ future mother-in-law Clare Milford Haven. This should be another good reason for him to attend.
Bonas was there at Prince Harry’s wedding last year. She is now expected to reciprocate by sending the wedding invite to her ex and his wife.
A royal source has also confirmed that even Markle has got to know Bonas and she too is expected to attend the wedding with her husband. The marriage is expected to take place next year, and the couple should be sending out the invites in the coming months.
While Markle is expected to get an invite, the royal commentator pointed out that it is unclear whether she will attend. The Duchess of Sussex is known to “feel less comfortable” with her husband’s exes.
Markle reportedly didn’t want Prince Harry’s first girlfriend Chelsy Davy to attend her evening party after the wedding, even though many of their common friends made it on the list. It remains to be seen whether she will feel comfortable enough to attend Bonas’ wedding.
Bonas and Stanley announced their engagement last week from Nantucket, Massachusetts. Stanley shared a picture of the two of them on Instagram while he made the announcement.
