Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are confirmed to have broken up after nine months of romance reportedly due to their hectic schedules and age gaps.
An insider close to Kardashian told Page Six, “Kim and Pete have decided to just be friends. They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship."
Davidson has been staying in Australia these past few months to film his upcoming movie. Kardashian even made time to visit him in July, they spent some time in Daintree Rainforest. However, their efforts seemed to not surpass the difficulties of their long-distance relationship.
Another source claimed that age difference stood as a factor in their break up. The 28-year-old “Saturday Night Live” comedian is currently working on a movie in Australia, while the 41-year-old beauty mogul has been ultimately busy with her businesses as well as taking care of her children.
The couple gathered all the media attention as they confirmed their unexpected relationship. Their romance began upon meeting on the set of "SNL" in October 2021. They were first seen getting intimate during a roller coaster ride before being spotted on various dates. The mother of four previously shared how she felt for Davidson. She revealed that she felt "a vibe" when she kissed Davidson on "SNL" and was hit by the desire to "try something different." She asked for Davidson's number through a producer on the comedy show.
Davidson also reportedly went to Los Angeles to celebrate his 28th birthday with Kardashian and her famous mother, Kris Jenner. Kardashian, who has been on an intense ride as her divorce saga with Kanye West continues, finally shared pictures with Davidson on her Instagram in March. Then, they made their appearance at the premiere of “The Kardashians.”
Davidson has been seen close with Kardashian's family, he also appeared to have a great relationship with Kardashian and West’s children; even getting a tattoo of their initials on his neck.
Source clarified that West has nothing to do with Kardashian and Davidson's break up, "The divorce is moving forward, and they are focusing on co-parenting." Kardashian filed to end her marriage with West in February 2021, the process is still ongoing. Meanwhile, West's fifth divorce lawyer withdrew from the case.
