Due to the urgent needs of the victims of Hurricane Maria, the First Lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Rosselló, renewed efforts with the private sector to celebrate the "Unidos por Puerto Rico" Concert-Telethon.
This charitable initiative had originally been organized in early September to help those affected by the passage of Hurricane Irma near the Island. The Concert-Telethon will also have a song and video entitled "Bendita Isla" for which artists of national and international renown have been invited. Luis Fonsi, Marc Anthony, Juan Luis Guera, Ednita Nazario, Olga Tañón, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Zion & Lennox, La Mosca, Carlos Vives, Maluma, La Secta, Tito El Bambino, Vico C, Nicky Jam, Joel & Randy, Víctor Manuel, Ozuna, Yandel, Cosculluela, Manny Manuel, Tommy Torres, Danny Rivera, Joseph Fonseca, Samuel Hernández, Don Omar, Wisin, Ismael Miranda, among other great artists will share stage on October 22, 2017 with a live broadcast directly from Puerto Rico throughout the United States by more than 20 Spanish Broadcasting System radio stations, and on television through Telemundo, Univision and Mega TV.
