Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are planning a home birth for their second child at their Montecito home, this summer.
Duchess of Sussex is awaiting the birth of her daughter in early summer, and the infant will be the first princess to be born in the United States.
On Valentine's Day, the couple revealed their pregnancy with a breathtaking black-and-white photo taken remotely by their friend and longtime photographer, Misan Harriman, Page Six reported.
Meghan didn't provide any details, but she hinted that her due date is in the summer. People magazine reported.
A source spilled some beans to US Weekly about their plans to grow as a family." Harry and Meghan have always wanted a couple of kids—a little brother or sister for Archie, and they’re excitedly planning for the arrival of their bundle of joy," the source said. "It’s a dream come true...Meghan fell pregnant again toward the end of last year. The baby is due at the end of spring."
Meghan was ecstatic about the news of her baby and revealed it on the famous tell-all Oprah Winfrey Show.. "To have a boy and then a daughter — what else can you wish for?" she said in the interview. "Any kids, any one or two would have been awesome," Harry continued, "but to have a boy and then a daughter... now we've got our families, and we've got four of us."
Following Prince Philip's death last month, bookies in the United Kingdom working to predict the next soon-to-be-born mini royal's moniker have seen Philippa becoming a common choice for Meghan and Harry's daughter. The name's betting chances have been slashed to 3/1.
They wouldn't be the only royals if they paid tribute to Prince Philip while maning their second child. Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall, Harry's cousins, both gave their infant sons the middle name Philip just before their grandfather died.
Meghan Markle, 39, and Prince Harry, 36, named their first child, Archie, a name that was not on any betting company's radar.
Meghan usually has cravings for spaghetti, but she's been eating really healthy and avoiding gluten," a source told the outlet. She's also been eating a lot of organic produce, according to the source, who describes her as "a major fruit eater who consumes only organic."
The Duchess is planning on taking maternity leave. She guest-edited the British Vogue "Changemakers" edition during her first pregnancy.
