Porsche Speedster
Porsche 964 Speedster In DigitalRev TV Aerial Challenge Graham Uden

Practicing photography is a perfect example of exponential correlation -- as a hobbyist slowly gets serious about the art, the cost of pursuing better effects and higher potential leads to a dramatic increasing function curve in investment of both time and money.

Take automotive photography for example. How do some photographers capture the incredible depth of great driving roads along the mountainside? They get in a helicopter.

Tianmen Mountain, China

In the latest episode of the highly acclaimed YouTube photography show DigitalRev TV, Kai, the show's presenter, invites 15-year aerial photo veteran Graham Uden to do a little demonstration. In a very familiar Top Gear-esque challenge, Graham must hop aboard a helicopter and try and catch Kai on the ground. The premise sounds pretty straightforward and shouldn't prove to be very difficult for a specialist like Graham... until Kai whips out a rare Porsche 964 Speedster.

The owner of the Porsche 964 Speedster is Kevin Yeung. 260-hp and 230 lb.-ft. of torque, Yeung's rare Speedster was built in Porschestrasse, also known as Werk 1, and is Porsche's oldest manufacturing facility. Outfitted in right-hand-drive spec, this particular Speedster is only one of fourteen ever produced.

In order to complete the challenge, Graham Uden must snap 10 clean shots of Kai in the speeding Speedster. However, will Uden even find the Porsche in the windy roads through the thickets of Hong Kong's South Bay at all? Watch the video to find out what happens.

Happy hump day, everybody!
