Pagani Huayra
11-year-old in a Pagani Huayra DRIVE

During our week-long coverage of the single most important annual premiership auto show at Pebble Beach, we have provided you with a taste of a small selection of automobiles that were present during the event. An expansive spectrum of all things automotive and exotic, we covered concepts like the Cadillac 'Glamour' Concept, BMW Zagato Roadster Concept, and Bentley Convertible Concept; bespoke models like the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Aviation Collection and SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition; premieres like the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and McLaren 12C Can-Am; and rare vintage classics like the custom Cadillac Fleetwood V12 and the rare pair of LeMans Ford GT40 racing cars.

It certainly is an incredible place to be and Jay Leno has even called the Pebble Beach event "tailgating for billionaires." But what's it really like to be there? Automotive YouTube channel 'DRIVE' attended the event and had an opportunity to get into the mix of things and see for themselves.

Without question, one of the main cars of the event was the ultra-rare Pagani Huayra. Pulling Pagani Press & Events manager Luca Venturi aside, DRIVE executive producer J.F. Musial asks, "Pebble Beach. Why is this so big?"

Venturi answered the question by simply asking J.F. to take a look at the traffic that has stopped and the crowd that has formed simply because of the single Pagani Huayra parked on the side of the road. Obviously, the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance isn't just a party for the wealthy -- it represents a supercar mecca for car enthusiasts of all ages and financial backgrounds.

One of the attendees at Concours was an 11-year-old boy who got the chance to take in the Pagani Huayra for the first time. Clearly experiencing a strong case of sensory overload, the boy was approached by J.F and was asked a number of questions about the car. Impressively, the kid managed to answer each question with poise, wisdom, and maturity rarely seen from the typical young'n these days.

Pleasantly impressed, J.F. returned the favor by pulling some strings to allow the little boy to get inside the driver's seat of the million-dollar expensive supercar. Pay close attention to the kid's face when he's told to hop inside -- that's the pure essence of everything that's great about events like this and cars like the Pagani Huayra.

Good job, J.F. It was nothing more than a casual request that you made to the PR guys at Pagani, but that small gesture just changed the little boy's life forever!
