The final season of "True Blood" continues tonight with an all-new episode titled "Fire in the Hole" on HBO at 9:00 p.m., ET. From the synopsis and the preview trailer of the third episode it looks like we are in for tons more drama as always, familiar faces will be returning and we may perhaps see a death of two from some of our favorite characters (you know just like any ordinary episode of "True Blood").
In the preview we see the gang runs into trouble with the Bon Temp towns people and from what we can piece together the ex-mayor shoots Sam (Sam Trammell) and reinstates himself. We also see Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) crying over a sickly looking Eric (Alexander Skarskård),Alcide (Joe Manganiello) kicks down Bill's (Stephen Moyer) door looking for Sookie (Anna Paquin), who we immediately see in a car with Mr. Compton drinking his blood.
There also looks to be a big brawl in the woods but honestly the trailer is moving too fast it's hard to tell who is fighting whom. Lastly, the video ends with James (Nathan Parsons) trying to wake up an unconscious or possibly dead Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis).
The TV Guide synopsis for episode three "Fire in the Hole" reads: Pam tries to motivate Eric to return to Louisiana; Sookie comes up with a risky plan; Jason mulls a future with Violet; Willa is forced to relocate; Sarah Newlin puts her past behind her on "True Blood" Sunday, June 22 (9:00 p.m., ET). Guest stars include Anna Camp as Sarah Newlin, Noah Matthews as Wade, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Nicole, Nathan Parsons as James and Brett Rickaby who plays Vince.
You can catch the all-new episode of "True Blood" tonight at 9:00 p.m., ET on HBO alternatively can be watched online through live stream with HBO Go and HBO Connect. Fans also have an option to buy the episode after it airs via iTunes, however, it won't be available for purchase until the next day.
