Madonna joined Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Mary Lambert on the 2014 Grammys stage in one of the most epic performances. The hit song "Same Love" opened up the musical number in what we thought was just a normal bit. All of a sudden Queen Latifah walks on stage and officiates a massive wedding of straight and same-sex couples getting ready to tie the knot. While the rapper was giving words of wisdom, the queen of pop walks from behind in an all-white outfit and starts singing "Open Your Heart." Watch the emotional performance down below!

News of the musical number had been leakedhours before the main telecast aired. In total there were 33 couples that wed live at the Grammy awards. Ryan Lewis even revealed that his own sister would be marrying her boyfriend in the massive wedding. "I expect that people with all kinds of opinions might voice them, and that’s healthy,” Neil Portnow, president of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, said of the performance.

Music's biggest night didn't fall short of surprising audiences during its three-hour-plus telecast of the main event. The red carpet was full of celebrities in their best ensembles like Katy Perry in a Valentino gown with a musical note print. One of our favorite looks was Rita Ora's Gucci dress that shimmered and sparkled as the lights of photogs flashed to snap her fashion moment. Madonna's date was her son David Banda, who was wearing a matching Ralph Lauren suit. Our Latino's were also present during the arrivals where we saw Gloria Estefan in a beautiful red dress, Aleks Syntek and Miguel.
