A video of a hungry crocodile hunting a thirsty dog has gone viral on social media.

The incident is reported to have happened at the banks of river Chambal in Rawatbhata, near Kota in Rajasthan, India.

In the video, a dog is seen wandering on the riverbank while a crocodile quietly tracks it. A voice behind the camera is heard saying, "See, it's coming!"

"They (crocodiles) are clever. The dog is unaware," the person says

The clueless dog loiters for a while and approaches a boat on the bank, the person filming is heard saying, "It's trapped. It will be attacked."

The giant reptile closes in on its prey and in a flash grabs it in its jaw. The poor dog can be heard yelping before the crocodile swims away with it into deep waters.

"It took the dog," the person says before the video ends.

The video has been receiving major backlash from netizens.

"How could you make a video in this situation? You should have saved the poor dog when you saw the crocodile coming. My god so heartless you are," a netizen commented.

"I am seeing 2 crocodiles in this video one in the river in front of the camera and the second one who is shooting behind the camera," another wrote.

"Next time it'll be you, and others would be recording," another comment read.

In another video, a body cam captured heroic moments from a subway station in New York City, when two transit officers risked their lives to save a man who had fallen onto the tracks following a seizure.

On May 16, Transit Officers Christopher Cerny and Gary Lamour were patrolling the subway station on 14th Street and Eighth Avenue in lower Manhattan when they spotted a man on the platform experiencing a seizure and falling onto the tracks.

As a speeding train approaches the station, one of the officers rushes to alert the driver while his partner jumps onto the tracks to rescue the man. The train came to an emergency halt and the officers managed to get the man to the platform.

He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital for treatment. No one was injured in the ordeal and train service was not disrupted, police clarified.
