Tonight is an all-new episode of "How I Met Your Mother" and "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston returns! Cranston reappears in the Monday, Nov. 11 episode, "Platonish," a flashback episode. From the TV promo trailer and the synopsis the episode will revolve around a flashback from the gang, which is brought on by an offer by Hammond Druthers (Cranston). The gang also ponder the future of the Ted, Robin and Barney love triangle and Barney accepts a series of challenges from Lily and Robin which include picking up a girl talking like a dolphin, can it be done?
Last week's episode "The Lighthouse" featured Barney's Mom Loretta at odds with Robin and the two's feud escalates to an egg-off! Marshall and Daphne finally find some common ground in hating Ted's dad's music and Ted realizes that he hasn't found the right girl yet. The official synopsis for "The Lighthouse" reads: When Robin and Loretta's conflict escalates, Barney is caught in the middle. Meanwhile, Marshall and Daphne deal with a stowaway on their road trip, and Ted and Cassie try to enjoy a trip to a lighthouse. The episode concludes with a flash-forward of Ted's marriage proposal to the mother.
