"How I Met Your Mother"
Barney and his mom discuss a truce between her and Robin. CBS/How I Met Your Mother/Scre

In episode eight of "How I Met Your Mother," "The Lighthouse," Robin and Barney's mom; Loretta, are still not getting along and look to be going head-to-head in an egg-off which appears to be caused by Robin wearing Loretta's beloved sweater that she won in a poker game. Tonight's brand new episode synopsis reads: When Robin and Loretta's conflict escalates, Barney is caught in the middle. Meanwhile, Marshall and Daphne deal with a stowaway on their road trip, and Ted and Cassie try to enjoy a trip to a lighthouse. Tonight's episode also promises to show more of the mother! Although she was nowhere to be found in the promo trailer for "The Lighthouse." Hopefully tonight will show more of Ted and Cristin Milioti's character interacting more. Especially since this season is supposed to be dedicated to finally meeting the mother and discovering how Ted and she fall in love. Meanwhile Marshall is still hiking to the wedding with his travel partner Daphne and it is bound to take a hilarious turn.

According to TV Guide Daphne and Marshall will take a pit stop at Ted's mom's house in Ohio. Which explains why the official synopsis for "The Lighthouse" explains how Daphne and Marshall end up with a stowaway on their road trip. The episode will also deal with Ted and Cassie (Anna Camp of "True Blood") trying to enjoy a trip to a lighthouse. If you are planning to catch the episode check out all the information detail below.
