A new Nintendo Direct video presentation will air today, Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. ET the company announced via Twitter. The new direct is said to focus on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U titles scheduled to launch before the end of this spring. Some of the games slated for release include “Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze,” “Yoshi's New Island” and “Mario Kart 8.” Nintendo also announced a new Direct will also air at 10 p.m. CET in Europe.
While the company is expected to focus on "Wii U and 3DS games launching by the end of spring" but don't discount Nintendo to throw a few curveballs. After all, Nintendo of America promises 41 minutes of video in today's broadcast. We could perhaps hear news about the upcoming title “Super Smash Bros.” or even a new console.
January the company reported that they had a $15 million loss in its third quarter financial results. Nintendo also announced they plan to bring Nintendo DS games to the Wii U console and hope to bring flexible pricing plans for users who buy more Nintendo games.
