Ryan Seacrest is celebrating 10 years of "On Air," his L.A. based radio talk show, and recruited a slew of celebrities to commemorate the anniversary. Stars dancing along to Pharrell's hit song "Happy" include Becky G, "The Bachelor" Juan Pablo Galavis and proving she is a far superior dance than singer Janney "Chiquis" Marín Rivera. The clip was filmed over a two-month span in the cities of New York and Los Angeles that also included Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Jason DeRulo, "The X-Factor's" Emblem3 boys and a special appearance by the oversized hat king himself. Watch the video down below but beware as the song is highly contagious!
Seacrest has more reasons to celebrate as it was announced this week that he will executive produce the inaugural iHeartRadio Music Awards. The show will feature 13 different award categories from different music genres with each consistent of 10 nominees. Listeners will vote for their favorite and the top five finalists will be announced during a one-hour event on March 26. Fans will then vote for their favorites and the winners will be announced during the broadcast. The new award show will air live from the Shrine Auditorium on May 1st on NBC. Ryan also struck a deal to produce a cop-drama alongside Jennifer Lopez, who was also tapped to star. The show has already received a 13-episode straight-to-series order and will air during the 2015-16 TV season.
Chiquis, who was featured in the video, recently attended "Premio Lo Nuestro" in Miami where she accepted several awards on her mother's behalf. The late Jenni Rivera won three awards as Female Artist of The Year in the Pop and Regional Mexican genres and for Song Of The Year for "Detrás De Mi Ventana." Jenni's oldest daughter has followed in her mother's footsteps and recently released her first single titled "Paloma Blanca." The name of the song was a nod to the song "Paloma Negra," which Jenni dedicated to her daughter during her last concert. The video Chiquis posted online showed her wearing a white dress and the track opens with the lyrics, "you don't know how much I miss you, beyond the wounds." Marin's tune is dedicated to her deceased mother who died in a tragic plane crash in December 2012.
