Last week on "The Big Bang Theory", viewers saw what happens when you try to blackmail someone-it backfires. After Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) invite their friends for dinner, the consistently socially-awkward 'clean freak' Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) is forced to clean up Howard's closet after saying if he sees the purported mess inside, he will no doubt depart company momentarily to clean it.

When Sheldon finds Bernadette to be less than overjoyed with his criticism of their meal choice, she blackmails Sheldon by asking Howard to open the closet door, finding the letter from Howard's absentee father that became the subject of the plotline for the episode.

This week on "The Big Bang Theory", the four men find out that there is an opening at CalTech for a tenured professor in their department-one tenured professor. What "secret weapon" does Leonard (Johnny Galecki) have up his sleeve to impress during his interview, suggestively giving him an edge on the competition? Find out Thursday night at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central on CBS.

Additionally, there is word that Sheldon Cooper will have the opportunity once again to interact with his mortal enemy, Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie). Tonight's episode was written by Steve Molaro, Eric Kaplan and Maria Ferrari and directed by Mark Cendrowski. It is the 20th episode of the sixth season of "The Big Bang Theory". Viewers and fans can visit www.cbs.com/bigbangtheory after tonight's airing to see a replay at their leisure if they miss the primetime spot.

Spoilers of forthcoming episodes see Raj (Kunal Nayyar) giving ironic advice about being more forthcoming with the opposite gender. He already stunned fans of "The Big Bang Theory" by departing his role of "third wheel" by developing a relationship with Lucy (Kate Micucci). There is also word of a possible season finale appearance by television legend Bob Newhart of "The Bob Newhart Show".
