A week after Roger – an alien hiding his true identity to live amongst the humans and in the Smith household – awakes from a coma following a horrific car crash, the Smith family will once again endure their fair share of dramatic events in ‘Familyland,’ the 10th episode of season’s ‘American Dad.’ Roger was smack in the middle of a terrifying car accident in the previous episode ‘Vision: Impossible’ but when he returns from a coma, the loveable alien is able to help the Smith’s survive a burning fire due to his ability to see into the future.
Though his capability to see into the approaching days, months and years appears to be a blessing at first, the Smith’s grow tired of the alien’s new-found power after he abuses the ‘gift’ but nonetheless, Stan Smith and his family must proceed with their lives while coping with the uncertainty that lies ahead. The next episode in Seth Macfarlane’s animated sitcom largely focuses on Francine Smith, the wife of CIA agent Stan and mother to Haley and Steve Smith. Longing to relieve the great moments from her kids’ childhood, Francine and the family take a trip to a seemingly enjoyable theme park called Familyland.
Thanks to a mix of nervousness and comedy, fans of ‘American Dad’ surely won’t want to miss the next episode, especially since the Smith family find themselves in serious trouble once again. ‘Familyland’ airs on Sunday, January 12 at 9:30pm, ET on the FOX Network and those hoping to watch on-line will have the ability to do so. FOX.com will carry the episode starting on Monday, January 13 with Hulu, iTunes and Amazon Instant Video releasing their coverage Monday as well.
