"The Walking Dead" Season 5 is expected to return this fall at its usual time slot on Sunday evenings at 9 p.m. ET. According to an earlier report, the season premiere date is Oct. 12. As always, some really interesting rumors and reports begin to surface as the new season slowly approaches.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "The Walking Dead" comic book writer and executive producer Robert Kirkman discusses Season 5 and the Terminus. According to Kirkman, people of the Terminus will be the main focus for Season 5 Episode 1.
"In our premiere episode of Season 5 we're going to give a ton of answers of who the people of Terminus are, what they're doing, why they're doing it, what's going on with them. And by the end of that episode you're going to have a much better understanding of what's going on with them and why they're so important to the show. Oh, and Daryl dies," teased Kirkman. First of all, never joke about Daryl Dixon! Second of all, the Terminus is an exciting developing story arch and we're keen to learn where it leads. "Walking Dead" comic book fans will know that the people of Terminus are actually the savage group of cannibals featured in the comics.
A new group means new characters and here is where "The Walking Dead" rumors really start to get interesting: "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul may appear in "The Walking Dead" Season 5! Rumormills were buzzing when a photo of Aaron Paul walking into Norman Reedus' trailer went viral. Aaron Paul will be a dynamic addition to "Walking Dead" and it would arguably be even more interesting to see him play as one of the Terminus cannibals opposite of Rick and Darryl and the group.
The "Walking Dead" official Facebook page also shared the photo with the following caption: "Are we dreaming right now?" We hope not! Unfortunately, details are still limited and Aaron Paul's involvement in "Walking Dead" Season 5 has yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned as we learn more in the months ahead!
