Miley Cyrus is twerking again, and this time with a Christmas twist. The pop sensation performed at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball on Friday and her performance included twerking on Santa Claus. The "Wrecking Ball" singer wore a red sequined midriff-exposing outfit and giant black boots as she strutted her stuff across the stage. "You are a VERY BAD Santa @CheyneThomas," the singer tweeted Saturday. She performed "We Can't Stop," "Party in the USA" and "#GetItRight."
Miley Cyrus has developed quite the 'twerk-utation' following her now infamous VMA performance which included twerking on Robin Thicke during his performance of "Blurred Lines." The latest gyrating moves from the 21-year-old singer hardly come as a surprise, but in the context of Christmas it seems even more perturbing. If even Santa Claus can be sexualized and represented as a drunk rockstar, what hope is there for Miley's young fans to cherish the tradition?
Then again, Miley is just doing what Miley does best. Causing a scene, making a ruckus and getting people talking.
