With the finale fast approaching, "The Vampire Diaries" fans cannot wait to find out what the cliffhanger will be prior to the last episode. Thursday May 9 will see an all-new episode entitled "The Walking Dead," the second to last of the 4th season.
The dead will start to return in this next installment of the CW hit, as producer Julie Plec hinted: "We start to have some ghosts coming through from the other side. It's a nice collection of faces that will make us happy, and then some faces that we thought we probably shouldn't see again."
The dead will be in Mystic Falls to attend the day of graduation, which will be shown in the grand finale. While the diplomas are distributed, the dead will apparently be intent on settling old battles. Fans will be concerned for Caroline and Damon, who have stirred up trouble throughout the seasons.
Plec also confirmed that one vampire will take the coveted cure, although she didn't say who.
