"The Carrie Diaries" Season 2, Episode 8 is titled "The Second Time Around" and airs Friday (December 20) on The CW network. The episode finds Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) delighted when she gets the chance to interview the CEO of Bongo Jeans – but the pressure is on when Larissa (Freema Agyeman) tells Carrie that this is her last chance to land a piece in Interview magazine. Mouse (Ellen Wong) gets some news that drives an unexpected wedge between her and West (RJ Brown), and Sebastian’s (Austin Butler) father (Terry Serpico) delivers other news that could forever change Sebastian and Carrie’s relationship. When Walt (Brendan Dooling) gets kicked out of his parents him after they find out he's gay, Carrie takes him in and finds a surprising father figure in Tom (Matt Letscher). Meanwhile Maggie (Katie Findlay) tries to muster the courage to tell her dad the truth about the last few months. Watch a preview down below!
On Episode 7 titled "I Heard A Rumor" Carrie is shocked when she reads a nasty rumor about herself on Page Six regarding her break-up with Weaver. He tells the publication she dumped her for being needy, which was a complete fabrication. Samantha masterminds a plan to set the record straight and gets Carrie and her friends in a party where the reporter is set to attend. Mouse is worried that she and her boyfriend West are stuck in a rut and spices things up by taking a topless picture of herself and placing it in his backpack. When looking over plays for the big match the photo accidently drops and the whole team tries to figure out who it is. Maggie experiences a medical emergency and Sebastian is forced to reach out to Carrie.
On Episode 6 titled "The Safety Dance" Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) struggles with writer’s block, Weaver (Chris Wood) tries to help but gets in the way. Carrie fights this block by having sex with her new man and Weaver advices her to write about something that makes her feel uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Maggie (Katie Findlay) and Sebastian (Austin Butler) grow closer after learning that she is pregnant. When Bennet (Jake Robinson) moves to a dangerous neighborhood, Walt (Brendan Dooling) takes drastic measures to keep himself safe, with both hilarious and heartfelt results. Meanwhile, Larissa (Freema Agyeman) and Samantha (Lindsey Gort) finally find some common ground: sex, even videotaping their act. Carrie decides to end her relationship with Weaver as she doesn't feel support from him. She goes back home and goes to visit Sebastian with the excuse of returning his jacket, but when she arrives she sees Maggie sleeping in the couch. Carrie assumes Maggie and Sebastian are still in a relationship and turns around while Sebastian see's her drive off.
