Upset Father Axes Minor Daughter, Her Boyfriend To Death Inside Locked House

A minor girl and her boyfriend were axed to death by the girl’s father after he found them locked inside the house. The shocking incident happened Sunday, May 16, in the city of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, India.

According to a preliminary investigation, the teen victims were having an affair against the will of the girl’s family.

On Saturday, the boy visited his girlfriend at her home after her parents and brothers left town for a wedding.

The girl’s uncle, who is also their neighbor, found out about the couple and locked them inside the house. He then called the girl’s father and told him about his daughter’s act.

The boy’s father came looking for his son on Sunday. The man confronted the girl’s uncle who told him that he has locked his son inside the house and will not open it until the girl’s father arrives.

The girl’s family returned home a few minutes later. The teen girl’s father rushed into the home and locked it from the inside before anyone else could enter.

The boy’s father, who realized that his son’s life was in danger, immediately alerted his family members and the police.

Responding officers arrived at the home and asked the suspect to open the door. Police broke into the house after repeated attempts to convince the suspect failed.

Officers found the teen victims lying in a pool of blood. According to the police, the suspect, axed his daughter and her boyfriend to death.

"The double murder took place over a love affair. The girl’s father has been arrested and the weapon used in the crime has been recovered," Kanpur Outer SP Ashtabhuja P Singh told local media.

The bodies were sent for an autopsy. Officials said the results were being awaited.

In a similar incident, a 23-year-old man was stabbed to death by his older brother following a dispute involving their mother. The incident took place at the family's home in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu on Friday, May 14.

According to police, the victim, got into an argument with his mother after she refused to give him money. The victim’s older brother intervened to stop the fight.

The altercation escalated and the suspect allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim multiple times. The suspect was arrested and charged with murder.
