A still-to-be identified woman is being located by Birmingham police about an incident that happened on May 22. The woman was trying to get into the Figure of Eight in Broad Street, Birmingham on Saturday but was told to wait by security personnel.
Being made to wait did not sit well with the woman who ended up pushing the bouncer and then went on a racial slur tirade. She even spitted in the direction of the fallen security personnel, footage of which was captured by other bystanders. Video of the incident went viral on social media platforms not long after.
Per reports, the woman was told to wait away from the door. Enraged, the woman responded to the bouncer by saying “I don’t give a sh**” and then pushes the man and then turning away. From there, she unleashed a stream of swear words and racial slurs, including calling him a "black c***" and using the n-word.
Other customers who were waiting to get in condemned the actions of the yet-to-be known woman, calling it something that even she would not tolerate.
"I haven't been doing security for years like some, but in the short time I've been doing it I've seen and been through pretty much everything there is to see....this however is something I, or anyone who looks like me, shouldn't have to put up with," the unnamed customer said on the video.
Though the real identity and information about the woman has yet to be known, there were suggestions that she could be employed by Worcester Bosch. The company has neither confirmed nor denied this claim and stated they are looking into the matter.
"At the moment we are uncertain if the woman does work for us, but rest assured if this is the case we take a zero-tolerance approach to racism in any form and this matter will be dealt with the utmost urgency and seriousness," an official statement from Worcester Bosch read.
