The founder of the infamous video series "Girls Gone Wild" has accused his ex-girlfriend of kidnapping their twin daughters and taking them to Mexico, preventing him from spending Christmas with them together.
Forty-eight-year-old Joe Francis alleges that his former partner Abbey Wilson had prevented him from seeing his two daughters, seven-year-olds Athena and Alexandria, for Christmas by kidnapping them and taking them to Mexico, and that she is running away from family violence charges in America, Page Six reported.
However, news outlets have been unable to independently verify the claims being made, and Wilson’s attorney Ronald Richards has stated that there are no charges pending against Wilson in the U.S.
“She has full temporary custody of her children. He only has limited supervised visitation. She has retained counsel and any court papers, like in the U.S., are served on counsel of record. There is no amber alert or any other bulletin looking for her,” Richards said.
Wilson had previously accused Francis of abusive behavior towards her and her children, with Francis reportedly refusing to financially support his children despite pleas from Wilson for help.
“It’s your problem. I don’t care anymore. I’m going to have new kids with another girl,” he reportedly sent Wilson via text. “You’re on your own now Abbey. Deal with it.”
In July of this year, Francis also publicly accused Wilson of stealing $250,000 from him and kidnapping his children, with vague allegations that Wilson had been abusive to her children, according to the New York Daily News.
Francis himself faced charges and accusations of domestic violence, including an incident where he allegedly grabbed a woman by the neck and spat on her, which connects to Wilson’s lawyer’s claims of abusive behavior on his part.
“He is angry and trying to make her look bad because he is angry he went to jail last year,” Richards said. “That is it. He is a violent human being and his track record proves that. He has a history of submitting false stories about our client.”
