Whether you’re planning a boozy brunch, garden party or an outdoor happy hour with friends – the cocktails below from “Fresa Picante” (made with acclaimed Tequila Olmeca Altos Plata) to “Extra Sweet & Sour” (made with Chivas Regal) will invigorate any occasion.
1) Fresa Picante
2 part Altos Plata
¾ part lime juice
½ part agave nectar
1 strawberry
3 jalapeño slices
Muddle the strawberry in a shaker. Add the rest of the ingredients, ice and shake. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with jalapeño slices.
2) Pineapple Dream
2 part Altos Plata
1 part pineapple Juice
½ part simple syrup
½ part lime juice
10-12 cilantro leaves
Muddle the cilantro leaves in a shaker. Add the rest of the ingredients, ice and shake. Strain into a cocktail glass.
3) Tommy’s Margarita
2 parts Altos Plata
1 part freshly squeezed lime juice
½ part agave nectar
Lime wedge
Shake & strain over cubed ice. Garnish with lime wedge.
4) BLOOD & SAND
1 ½ parts Chivas Regal Extra
1 part Sweet Vermouth
¼ part Cherry Brandy
1 part Orange juice
Pour ingredients into a mixing glass with ice, shake, and strain into a martini glass.
5) EXTRA SWEET & SOUR
1 ½ parts Chivas Regal Extra
1 ½ parts Organic apple juice
¼ part Lemon juice
¼ part St. Germain
2 dashes Angustura Bitters
Sparkling water (top off)
Garnish with an apple fan.
