A 42-year-old transgender sex offender reportedly flashed her penis and committed a vulgar sex act with a bin in the presence of families and children.

The act was allegedly performed by Chloe Thompson using a sex toy that she attached to the bin in Middlesbrough, England, and was caught in a back alley last year, reported Daily Star. Teesside Crown Court was told how she behaved in an "overtly sexualized manner in the presence of families and children" on Aug. 13, 2021. She also exposed herself on the same day while thrusting her hips in the window of her house.

Three children witnessed the act, reported Teesside Live. A witness saw "a male on the street," "wearing women's clothing." The witness saw that person "lifting and playing with their penis."

Thompson had been due to be sentenced on Tuesday, but the judge asked for more information. The request was made to assess if "structures can be in place to protect the public from such behavior" if he were to hand out a suspended jail term. The probation service was asked by judge Stephen Carroll to produce an addendum report to consider if Thompson would comply with a period of deferment of three months before the sentencing.

He said that due to the "duration and unpleasantness, a custodial sentence is inevitable." He added that the only thing he needs to find out is "whether it could be suspended, given the challenges you faced and the time that has lapsed and the work that has been done during this difficult time."

The court was told how Thompson was "somebody who is going through a number of difficulties" and is "struggling to decide who she is." Thompson is trying to make changes, but certainly at the start of that process felt "somewhat isolated and erratic in her behavior," said lawyer Tom Bennett. Thompson was told by the judge that he was aware of the challenges faced "in terms of your gender identity," and described the offending as "repugnant and offensive to the people around you."

The judge said that Thompson is "entitled to appropriate respect and courtesy and assistance in facing the challenges ahead of you but that respect goes both ways."

Daily Record reported in February that Andrew McGloin, defending, said Thompson is "an individual who feels, at this point in her life, very optimistic and hopeful for the future." The lawyer told the court that his client is originally from Glasgow and in 2011, moved to the Teesside area to find work. Thompson plans to go to a gender clinic which may lead to her undergoing gender reassignment surgery, according to him.

For 22 offences, the former soldier has 17 convictions. Thompson was still under a suspended sentence order at the time of her latest crimes, and admitted three charges in relation to her latest offence. Thompson, who was granted conditional bail, needs to be back in court on April 26.
