Tune into Top Gear Season 21 Episode 3 on BBC 2 on 8 p.m. Sunday, February 16. After a crazy episode of an McLaren P1 tackling a treacherous Spa-Francorchamps, the new episode brings back a Top Gear favorite: the small hatchback.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May pick their favorite hatchbacks on the market to the Ukraine. The destination is the scenic Crimean Peninsula, where they took in the local history and visited an old Soviet submarine base. However, the sneaky producers at Top Gear weren't going to let the three presenters relax for a change. Instead, the trio are challenged to take a long journey up to Kiev before, wait for it, a final drive into the notorious city of Chernobyl. Gulp.
Of course, hatchbacks get boring really fast, so Jeremy Clarkson will be driving something much, much faster to pick up the pace. How does a 1086 horsepower Zenvo ST1 sound?
Finally, singer James Blunt returns to Top Gear as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. Blunt will be introducing a new album but we don't really care. Will he beat his own lap time? Possibly.
