The Times Leonardo DiCaprio Was Rumored To Be Brad Pitt’s ‘Cupid’

Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio have very high-standing reputations due to their cinema achievements as movie stars. Although the two celebrities have a very short roster of shared movies, the two A-list actors have been united in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming movie “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood,” set for release later this month.

Despite having only a number of cameos together, they have become very close friends, having been seen constantly hanging out ever since the roster of the highly anticipated movie was released. Their “bromance” has sparked some amount of buzz for the movie, and consequently some rumors have spread about how close the two are. Here are several of the times that the “Titanic” star was rumored to have pushed his co-star back into the dating field.

June 2018: Double Date Plans

In the middle of last year, Hollywood Life honed in on Pitt and DiCaprio’s bromance, alleging that the two planned on double dating. The article’s source alleged that the two hot male stars were “legendary with the ladies” and that they would be happy to double date should the opportunity present itself.

“They know the fun they could have as a team as eligible bachelors,” the source continued. “With Brad and Leo together going on dates they would be like the 1927 Yankees, they’d never lose.”

August 2018: DiCaprio Sets Pitt Up With Models

In August last year, Star alleged that DiCaprio wanted to have his friend Pitt date a couple of models. The article even claimed that he allowed his friend to even “hook up” with his exes, just to get him back into the dating game.

“Leo offered to set Brad up with models, and even gave him permission to hook up with any of his exes like Nina Agdal, Kelly Rohrbach, Toni Garrn and Erin Heatherton,” said the source. “He told Brad he needs to embrace his hot dad status and get back out there.”

August 2018: DiCaprio Invites Pitt To Party And Meet Girls

Later that August, Naughty Gossip claimed that DiCaprio invited Pitt to join DiCaprio’s infamous group to party and meet girls. The rumor even claimed that Pitt actually declined to join, claiming that he was too focused on the divorce and his kids to even think about joining.

Although the details seem close to truth, as Pitt has adamantly repeated that he wished to focus on his kids, the report seemed to echo the earlier mentioned article from Star. The claims were all debunked by Gossip Cop and proven untrue by Pitt’s spokesperson.

June 2019: DiCaprio Pushes Pitt To Date

Following the finality of Pitt’s divorce from Angelina Jolie and the legalization of his single status, Star claimed that DiCaprio once again wished Pitt to start dating. The article’s source alleged that DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Camila Morrone, have friends who would “jump at the chance” to date him.

“Leo and Camila set up a night out with Brad and his date in L.A.,” says the source. “Brad is up for it! He’s got his groove back and is ready to have a little fun.” But just like all the previous articles, this was debunked as Pitt is still adamant about putting dating in the background, preferring to focus on fatherhood instead.
