Speculations on Brad Pitt having quit the acting industry are rife once more, thanks to an article by the American supermarket tabloid National Enquirer and its sister company, Radar Online. It is worth noting that it is not the first time that the latter released a rumor of the sort as it was just last year when it claimed that the 55-year-old actor was setting his career as an actor aside to build a profession in art and furniture design.

Contrary to reports of the Cliff Booth actor quitting the acting industry to become a beekeeper, Pitt actually just found the said hobby — one that is a current trend in the Hollywood industry — thanks to his “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. According to the tabloid, Pitt has “gone all in on the craze” and even has “bee villas” in the backyard of his Los Angeles property.

However, Gossip Cop, a well-known fact-checking site for celebrity news, reached out to Pitt’s spokesperson and found out that there is no truth to the rumor. According to the investigative publication, his representative stated that such report by the tabloid’s “anonymous and untraceable source” is merely a “desperate attempt at ‘buzz.’”

On a tangent, despite starring in the up and coming drama/thriller “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” — which is set for a July 26 US release date — Pitt revealed in an interview with GQ Australia last week that he’s “naturally aging out” of the actors’ industry.

“I really believe that overall it’s a younger man’s game,” stated the ex of Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston. “I’m doing less and less. I could be a dinosaur and not even know it,” he continued.

A few years back, Pitt himself revealed that he was going to quit acting by the time he reaches the age of 50. It was during an interview on the Australian show “60 Minutes” to promote his 2012 film “Moneyball” that he mentioned such plans.

“Hell if I know,” was his response when asked what he would do after. He also indicated that he had plans of becoming a film producer.
