TikTok User's Note To Neighbor About Their Loud Sex Goes Viral

Earlier this month, a TikTok user posted a note she had written and sent to her neighbors over their loud and very distracting lovemaking. The woman shared her handwritten note on TikTok having had enough from bearing through her neighbor’s loud sex four nights in a row.

In an effort to relay her complaint politely, she made a conscious effort to word her thoughts and even offered some mutually beneficial advice on how to sort the issue.

Her note read, “Hey, I would greatly appreciate it if you guys would separate [your] bed from the wall. It’s becoming an everyday thing and it’s very hard for me to sleep with that noise … Thx, your neighbour.”

The woman signed off her note with two kisses and specified that the noise she was referring to was “moaning” and the loud banging of their headboard against their common wall.

She posted the note on TikTok before slipping it under her neighbors door in the hopes that their loud nightly romps would tone down.

After returning from walking her dog the same day, she spotted a note at her doorstep. Fearing a backlash from her neighbors, she was surprised to find an apology card along with a $50 Starbucks gift voucher, News.com.au reported.

The neighbor wrote: “I apologise for the inconvenience, I will do a better job at managing my volume. Thank you for your discretion.”

The woman’s clip about her neighbors’ unexpected response and gesture gained 220,000 views.

Meanwhile, a mother in Sussex took to Twitter last week after her daughter received a note from neighbors also asking her to tone down the sex noises. Several neighbours claimed they could hear “sexual” noises at all hours of the day and night and asked if she would be able to make “less noise” because it was “extremely embarrassing”.

However, the mother revealed that her daughter’s bed does not have a headboard and that she has been recovering from back surgery, with the “moaning” as a result of her pain. The mother’s tweet was quickly flooded with comments from users in hysterics over the neighbor's written complaint.
