The mystery continues to shroud the murder of a 13-year-old child who was allegedly killed by his father. The suspect was identified as Mark Redwine who is facing charges in connection with the death of Dylan Redwine who went missing after Thanksgiving in 2012 in Denver.

The father was arrested in connection with the murder of Dylan four years ago and the trial has since been rescheduled more than ten times. The trial restarted last week.

According to reports, Dylan had discovered some photos of his father wearing women's underwear. Worse, there was even a photo showing the dad eating feces out of a nappy, court records claimed.

Prosecutor Fred Johnsons says that the images disgusted the 13-year-old and this did not sit well with the dad. This reportedly triggered an outburst from Mark and such is now seen as a motive for him to kill his son.

“A damaged relationship, exposed with compromising photographs, photographs in the hands of a 13-year-old who is disgusted by it, which triggered a violent rage in the defendant,” Johnson quipped.

However, the legal counsel of the father alleges that the photos were from his private life and had no connection to the murder. He added that the disappearance of Dylan was due to something else and that the teen may have been killed by a bear or a lion in the woods. A reason behind this conclusion is that there was a tooth-shaped mark on the boy’s skull.

The court also heard that Dylan did not spend Thanksgiving that year with his dad due to the discovery. He was forced to do due to a court order that was part of his parent’s divorce.

But things got a bit off on the night of Nov. 18, a Sunday. At this time, Dylan had stopped responding to calls or text messages to friends and his mother. The lights were turned off an hour later. The case remains ongoing.
