Seven people have been booked by Bhiwani police after a complaint was filed by the father of a 16-year-old teenage girl who was found to be two-months pregnant. It appears the seven men have been alternately taking advantage of the teenage victim whenever she went into the grocery of one of the accused.
The seven men, two of whom are aged between 52 to 53 and the others between 30 to 35, are facing charges under sections 376DA (Punishment for gang rape on a woman under sixteen years of age), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The case of the 16-year-old girl went into a full circle when the teenager suddenly fell sick. When she was brought to the hospital to be examined, it turned out that she was two-months pregnant. It was only here when she told her parents everything, repeatedly raped by the seven individuals for the past six months.
The girl was forced to keep quiet since she was threatened to be set ablaze if she revealed everything. The accused are allegedly neighbors of the victim. One of them was a grocery owner Satyanarayan and his son Ravinder along with five others.
"The victim used to buy groceries from the Satyanarayan's shop. The incident took place in the shop. A case has been registered and the accused will be arrested soon," SHO Bawani Kheda, Ravindra Kumar stated.
