Orny Adams return to "Teen Wolf" has been confirmed. According to Teen Wolf News, Jeff Davis confirms Adams will return to the second half of "Teen Wolf" season five as Coach Finstock.
Movie Pilot reveals Davis wanted the news to be a surprise to everyone and when Arden Cho took to Twitter to announce Adams return it definitely was. Cho tweeted, "Orny Adams, good seeing you today!!! Jelly you got wrapped early to celebrate your birthday!!! Have fun! Happy Birthday!"
Cho along with Cody Saintgnue also posted images of themselves in lacrosse uniforms giving away the fact that the popular sport will return in the forthcoming episodes.
Adams initally stepped away from the show for the first 10 episodes due to his busy work schedule. The response to his return has been extremely positive and we can't wait to see him as Coach again. Until then check out these other five exciting details about season 5B of "Teen Wolf" below:
1. Episode 11 details revealed - While we don't know the title of the midseason premiere, a few details have been revealed. According to Movie Pilot the 11th episode will focus on Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) fighting for Sheriff Stillinski's (Linden Ashby) life. The website also reveals that Braeden (Meagan Tandy) and Malia (Shelley Hennig) will play a huge role in the episode.
2. Scott and Kira's relationship explored - The relationship between Scott and Kira (Arden Cho) will be explored in the second half of season five. According to Carter Matt the pairs relationship can go one of two ways, they could either breakup for good or become stronger as a unit. Scott and Kira have been going strong through all the danger, but with the Dread Doctors in town Scott may have to choose to let Kira go for her safety or face the danger together.
3. Stiles will be funny again - Talking with Hypable the executive producer promised this season will be lighter, getting back to what made us all fall in love with the show in its first season.
"We’re bringing the comedy back to Stiles, but Dylan Sprayberry and Khylin Rhambo are hilarious together," Davis says. "I love those two together. They’re the best of friends. We’ve been writing a lot of comedy for [Mason], who is becoming very important to the season, actually. It’s a joy to have actors who can do so well in drama and comedy. But we’ve got to have Stiles be funny again. It’s time for him to be funny again. Dylan just turned into such a dramatic actor that we just wanted to write him these dramatic moments."
4. A lot more Holland Rodan - Davis revealed fans will see a lot more Rodan in the second half of season five. The producer revealed Lydia will be staying in Eichen House and she'll also have a secret mentor to help her utilize her Banshee powers.
"Even though she’s kind of comatose and catatonic, we see her quite a bit. 5B actually starts with Lydia in the water, the image you see in the trailer, trying to figure out the mystery of what happened between Theo and his sister and why his sister died."
"In 5A she learned to fight with her hands. In 5B, we see her being taught by — I won’t tell you who — to use her voice as a weapon," Davis continues. "That’s what she learns in Eichen House. And we eventually come back to present time in [episode 15]. That takes us back to [episode 1]."
5. Old castmates return - At New York Comic-Con 2015 the "Teen Wolf" season 5B trailer was revealed and fans were shocked to see some old cast members returning. Both Chris Argent (J.R. Bourne) and Deucalion (Gideon Emery) will return for the second half of the season, with the latter on the good side.
