In a similar but unrelated incident, a 16-year-old boy has been accused of killing his little brother after the young boy refused to hand over his mobile phone in Kheda district, Gujarat, India on Monday, May 23, Latin Times reported.
On May 23, the teen suspect and his 11-year-old little brother were taking turns playing an online game on a mobile phone. However, when the younger sibling refused to give his older brother the device, the 16-year-old accused allegedly picked up a large rock and began bashing his younger brother in the head with it. The teen suspect proceeded to tie the rock to the victim's body using copper wire, carried his body to a nearby well, and threw him down the reservoir.
After committing the gruesome murder, the accused fled the scene, boarded a bus, and traveled to Rajasthan without informing his family. Their parents became nervous after returning home from work as they could not find both their children. They subsequently found out about the whereabouts of their eldest son after inquiring with their relatives in their hometown of Rajasthan.
After bringing their son back home, the accused subsequently confessed to the crime. Following this, the parents informed the police about the incident. The police rushed to the spot, detained the underaged accused, and registered a case of murder against the minor suspect.
