Doctors in India are claiming that a 15-year-old girl from Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, is the center of a bizarre medical mystery, as they are stumped by the teen girl who appears to cry small rocks from her eye.

For almost two months, the girl’s family members claimed that between 10-15 stones come out of her left eye on a daily basis, however, doctors say that her affliction is not medically possible.

In a video, which was filmed in the village of Gadiya Balidaspur, the teen girl can be seen with a lump in the upper left-hand side of her eyelid.

A person off-camera appears to massage the girl’s eye until what appears to be a stone drops out of the lump and falls onto the girl’s top.

Shortly after, another rock-like item drops from the upper right-hand side of the girl’s eyelid.

The stone drops down from near her tear duct before falling again, with a woman grabbing it in her clothes.

The girl can be then seen holding the rock up in her hand, before showing a collection of rocks – all of which they claim fell from her eyes.

The family has consulted several doctors over the past months– all of whom claim that it is not medically possible.

A similar bizarre phenomenon was reported in Yemen in 2014, when 12-year-old Saadiya Saleh, displayed the same condition.

Doctors were not able to give an explanation for such a phenomenon since the girl, was not suffering from any known chronic disease.

Unfortunately, the bizarre incident triggered panic in the rural areas where villagers assumed the girl was possessed by the devil.

A YouTube film aired by Yemen’s Azal satellite TV channel showed doctors with a small box full of stones that they claimed had fallen from the girl’s eyes.

The local presenter said: "This case is the second strange phenomenon in the region."

"The case has triggered panic in the area where this girl lives… Some say the girl could be gripped by a magic spell while others say it might be the devil… Others fear it could be the start of a dangerous epidemic."
