Pokemon inspired stage for "Super Smash Bros." 3DS revealed! Nintendo

This is the week for “Super Smash Bros.Wii U and 3DS! Yesterday, game creator Masahiro Sakurai revealed that the 3DS version of the game would be getting an “Animal Crossing”-inspired stage based off Tortimer Island, which was first seen in “Animal Crossing: New Leaf.” Now it has been revealed a new “Pokemon X & Y” inspired stage is coming to 3DS version.

Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS will be getting a stage based around Lumiose City. The game’s director Masahiro Sakurai posted an image of the stage on Miiverse, along with the caption "The Prism Tower rises above Lumiose City. Up until a few seconds ago, the fighters were brawling on top of that tower. No, really.” Check out the the pic of Lumiose City for “Super Smash Bros.” 3DS below.

Meanwhile 24 fighters have been confirmed for the “Super Smash Bros.” Wii U and 3DS title. The character roster includes: Diddy Kong, Little Mac, Lucario, King Dedede, Zelda, Rosalina and Luma, Marth, Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Pit, Villager, Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Pikmin & Olimar, Luigi, Peach, Toon Link and Sonic. E3 2011 the new “Super Smash Bros.” title was announced! While Nintendo continues to pump up their character roster and stages for both versions of the game, the company has yet to reveal a release date. Originally Nintendo announced the game would be coming in 2014, and that still seems to be the case. The current influx of new information on the game leads us to believe we could hear an official release date announcement soon.
