Hannaley Suárez better known for being the former host of "Suelta La Sopa" and acting role in "Marido En Alquiler" had some trouble with the law this week. The former Telemundo star was arrested and charged with aggravated battery after she smashed a champagne glass on a bouncer, NBC 6 reports. According to a Miami Beach Police report Hannaley was trying to enter the VIP area of Wall Lounge in South Beach but was denied entrance by the as she was not on the guest list.
When the bouncer blocked Hannaley's entrance she allegedly said, "you don't know who I am." When Suárez bumped the bouncer, he put his hands on her shoulders and insisted that she was not allowed in. At this point the Telemundo personality struck the bouncer on the head with a champagne glass that caused a 1 1/2-inch cut on his forehead. Security intervened and the victim was treated by Miami Beach Fire Rescue, but would require stitches.
Hannaley was booked and bond was set at $7,500. The actress would have to go back to the courthouse for her arraignment. Suárez was part of the initial team of gossip show "Suelta La Sopa" co-hosting with Jorge Bernal. The program underwent a revamp, with a new set and Suárez was dropped with Bernal become the sole host. Hannaley had previously appeared in primetime Telemundo telenovela "Marido En Alquiler" and "Corazón Valiente." Other credits in television include "Rebelde" and "Codigo Postal."
