Steve Nash is going through a nasty divorce with ex-wife Alejandra Amarilla, and his ex is now alleging that the athlete has banned her from Los Angeles.

The Steve Nash ex-wife story was leaked by TMZ, who uncovered legal documents from the custody battle between Nash and Amarilla. Nash's ex-wife alleges in the documents that Nash won't let her move from Phoenix to LA with their three children so that he doesn't have to pay child support. What's more, last month TMZ alleged that the L.A. Lakers point guard did not want to pay support to Amarilla because she received millions in their divorce settlement and he reportedly funds his children's expenses.

Nash is reportedly concerned that if he shells out more cash, his ex-wife will spoil his children.

The Steve Nash ex-wife financial request was overruled by a judge in Arizona who decided that Amarilla did not need to receive child support. That said, if Amarillo successfully moved to California, she would have another opportunity to seek child support from Nash. As such, the judge has issued a restraining order that prohibits Amarilla from relocating to L.A., according to TMZ.

Here are four things you should know about Steve Nash's ex-wife, Alejandra Amarilla:

1. Nash and Amarilla married in 2005 after being together for nine years.

2. They announced their plans for divorce after the birth of their third child in 2010.

In an exclusive statement to Life & Style, Steve stated:

"I am very thankful and excited that we have a new son, Matteo Nash. Alejandra and the baby are doing fine. But this is a bittersweet moment for my wife and I; after five years, we are now in the process of dissolving our marriage. While we have lived separately for the past several months, we remain firmly committed to raising our children in the most positive, nurturing way possible. I want only good things for Ale going forward; right now, I'm focused on ensuring that our children understand how much they're loved and adored by us as they continue to adjust to these changes. I would ask that their privacy, and ours as a family, be respected as we move forward. This will be my only statement on this."

3. Why did they split up? While there's no confirmed reason, rumor has it that the split was because Amarilla cheated on him with his teammate, had a love child with that teammate and that Nash cheated on Amarilla with a 22-year-old. That said, if the love child part were true, we'd assume news would have leaked in the court proceedings.

4. Nash reportedly pays up to 90 percent of his children's expenses, but Amarilla wants the athlete to shell out more cash. The NBA player has countered that request because Amarilla is a millionaire on her own and doesn't need his financial support.
