Two Australian police officers are feeling a little embarrassed after questioning a man in a "Sons of Anarchy" T-shirt about biker gang activity. The two Queensland cops approached the man while he was attending a protest at Emerald where the state cabinet was having a meeting. The officers approached the man believing the logo on his shirt was actually a patch belonging to a biker gang. The police spoke with the man in the "Sons of Anarchy" T-shirt at length before realizing the man was just a fan of the American biker gang drama.

As the officers were questioning the man they realized the T-shirt was simply a logo from a television show. Reports say the officers made an awkward joke or two before apologizing to the man for their confusion. Queensland police commissioner Ian Stewart spoke with ABC Radio about the incident saying: "If people aren't prepared to do that, to step up when the going gets tough, then they really do need to consider another career." "Sons of Anarchy" is currently in its sixth season on the FX network. The show has under gone numerous changes to its characters and story lines.

This season began with some controversy regarding the finale scene of the season premiere. Show creator Kurt Sutter wrote an elementary school shooting into the season. This event has had a profound effect on main character Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) who is looking to get his motorcycle club out of the illegal gun buying and distributing business. Jax's decision has left the MC reeling and the members have been having to watch their backs because the gun distributors were not too happy about the decision Jax made. "Sons of Anarchy" airs Tuesday nights in the U.S on FX at 10pm EDT.
