You'll finally get the chance to take your picture with Sofía Vergara! Well, almost.
The 40-year-old Colombian model and actress will be immortalized forever in the famous Madame Tussaud's wax museums in New York and Las Vegas beginning June 4, according to the institution.
"We are very excited about Sofía Vergara's arrival at Madame Tussauds. She has become one of the most recognized and popular talents in the world and we know her fans and our visitors will love her figures," said Janine DiDioacchino, the museum representative.
Vergara, who stars in the popular U.S. series "Modern Family" and has also been a Cover Girl and Pepsi and Pepsi Latino spokesperson, was an "enthusiastic participant" in the process of creating the figures, according to DiDioacchino. The work of creating the sculptures took four months and the actress had to go through a lot of photo shoots, where thousands of pictures were taken, accurately measuring her body, observing details of her face and choosing a dress to donate of her own wardrobe.
The figure of Vergara in the New York museum will show off her curves with the same dress she wore last year to the Met Gala, where she sparkled in a silver-embellished peplum Marchesa gown. She embraced her silhouette and hourglass figure and was smart not to over-do it with the accessories. She added a pair of megawatt jeweled earrings and a few intricate bangles. To finish the look, the actress wore a pop of color on her lips.
For the Las Vegas waxwork, the actress gave the museum the form-fitting black dress with leopard print sleeves and white stripes on the sides originally worn to promote the third season of "Modern Family." In the promotional pictures, Vergara combined the dress with black peep-toe shoes, a golden ring and hoops, and a soft waves in her hair.
Sofía Vergara now joins the list of celebrities who in recent years were introduced to the museum such as President Barack Obama, actress Angelina Jolie and pop star Lady Gaga.
