Sofía Vergara is not a fan of fake stories and she does not have a problem with letting the media know about it.
“Why don’t you stop writing stupid stuff just to have something to write about people?” the Colombian actress said on Twitter on Wednesday night.
She continued, “Why don’t you stop making nonsenses up? Where’s the email with my demands? Why don’t you publish that?”
Turns out, several Colombian publications were posting stories implying the “Modern Family” star was channeling her inner Mariah Carey and was asking for outrageous things for her upcoming trip to Colombia.
According to Caracol TV and Los 40 Principales, Vergara sent a list of needs that needed to be satisfied in order for her to be able to work happily in the country, such as a brand new SUV, bulletproof windows, yacht, personal chef from Punta Iguana that responds to just her and her entourage, and so on.
When the news broke, the 43-year-old Barranquilla native did not think twice before putting the news outlets on the spot and asked them to show proof of such demands.
This is not the first time Sofía exposes liars on social media. Last month, she bashed The Journal Daily, a very questionable “webloid,” for announcing she was endorsing GOP candidate Donald Trump.
“Stupid fake journal. Never again use my name to invent stupid fake news,” Vergara wrote in a post.
Reports revealed Mrs. Joe Manganiello will be traveling to her homeland of Colombia next week, where she will be shooting a commercial for Águila beer in the Rosario Islands.
There is no word on how many days Vergara will be staying in the country, but the assumption is not for long, since she has to come back to the United States to take care of her hubby, who is still recovering from appendicitis complications.
