As if Sofía Vergara couldn't get any sexier, the "Modern Family" star is now a blonde!
The Colombian bombshell is returning to her natural hair color. After being famous for Gloria on ABC's "Modern family" and her dark brunette hair, the actress was ready for a change.
On Tuesday, the sultry star, 40, returned to her natural hair color and snapped a sexy photo of herself to share with fans on Instagram. Vergara captioned the photo: "Blond ambitions!! Gracias to the amazing Kelly [Kline]," giving a shootout to her colorist. "I'm ready for summer!"
Vergara has attested that she originally dyed her hair brunette when she first broke into Hollywood.
"I'm a natural blonde, but when I started acting, I would go to auditions, and they didn't know where to put me because I was voluptuous and had the accent -- but I had blond hair," she explained in a 2010 interview with Self magazine. "The moment I dyed my hair dark, it was, 'Oh, she's the hot Latin girl.'"
Now that she a Hollywood sex symbol, everyone knows her as a "sexy Latin girl." Fans love the photo of the star's new hair. They gave it over 33,000 favorites and 922 comments as of Wednesday morning, and they aren't the only ones happy with the transformation.
"I loved it," she said of the change. "Being brunette toned me down a bit."
