Selena Gomez And Justin Theroux Were Never A Thing

There is no truth to the rumors that Selena Gomez and Justin Theroux have the hots for each other. This is a rumor that first came up last year, shortly after the actor and Jennifer Aniston's separation was announced.

It started after Theroux mentioned Gomez in an Instagram post of himself holding two pitbull puppies. He included her name in the hashtags, hoping that she would help get the tiny pups adopted.

“Yeah that's right Selena, I did it to you again, but if you saw these guys you'd do whatever you could too,” Theroux wrote at the time in one single hashtag. “Also, I know you're chill like that.”

Rumors immediately started floating around claiming that the actor was “crushing hard” on the singer and that he didn't do anything about it because he was still married to Aniston at that time. The Instagram mention was apparently his way of getting close to her.

Gossip Cop has reported that there is no romantic interest between the two. A year after the report surfaced, there hasn't really been any evidence suggesting the two getting together. Theroux and Gomez simply share the love for animals, but that’s as far as it can get. In fact, Gomez is friends with “The Leftovers” actor and Aniston, who she is actually very close to. The former couple even supported the star in her film “The Fundamentals Of Caring” back in 2016.

Theroux is currently linked to 23-year-old Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader after the two were spotted together during a boxing workout last month. Gomez, on the other hand, can't seem to catch a break, recently being involved in a rumor that Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber's marriage is on the rocks because of her.

In truth, the “Wolves” singer has just been very busy promoting her new music with J. Balvin. She did, however, take some time to call out Snapchat for the design of their filters.

“Literally every single Snapchat filter has blue eyes,” Gomez said during her now expired Instagram stories. “But … what if you have brown eyes? Am I supposed to have these eyes to look good?”

Gomez isn't a fan of the fact that all the blue eyes are used for the “really pretty” filters, while her brown eyes are unchanged in filters like the one that distorts the lips and face.

Gomez has reached hundreds of millions of users with this series of Instagram stories due to her massive online following. The “Spring Breakers” star was once the most followed female celebrity on the platform but was recently dethroned by Ariana Grande.
