Earlier this month, Angelique Boyer expressed her disappointment on social media after being discriminated in France for sticking up to her Mexican roots, “I am in the country I was born and if I felt as a foreigner before…Today I am proud to be a foreigner, I stood up by saying I wasn’t from here…And I got the worst…” Boyer wrote on Facebook.
Even though the actress, who is half French, never specified what really happened she let her fans and followers know that she was proud to be Mexican and she “treasured Mexico and Mexicans more than ever!”
During a recent interview on Javier Poza's radio show, Boyer’s partner, Sebastián Rulli, addressed the incident and shared his opinion on the subject, “You encounter people that may have different characteristics, they may talk to people differently, they have different education and sometimes culture shock happens.”
The Argentinian actor continued by saying he shares Angelique’s opinion about México and its people, “I consider myself to be more Mexican than a lot of Mexicans, I love being here, I love México…when it comes to México I totally agree with her [Angelique Boyer] opinion.”
Poza took the opportunity to ask Rulli about the future he envisioned next to Boyer and he says he is open to anything “just like any other man who is in love”, including the possibility of adding a baby into the equation, “I am happy with family union, and God’s will, maybe in the near future, whenever God wants, we don’t call the shots, I’ve learned that we never do in this life. And just like any other person who is in love, and shares their hopes and dreams, hopefully it will happen someday.”
Sebastián recently spent some family time on a Disney cruise next to Angelique and his son, Santiago, whom he had with his ex-wife “Sabadazo’s” host, Cecilia Galliano.
