The world's most beautiful and curvaceous women are having an amazing week, but unfortunately crushing many dreams at the same time. First Christina Hendricks was promoted from stripper to mother in the movie adaptation of "Dark Places," which is great for her, but not so amazing for the many people who wanted to see her flaunt that amazing body; and now Scarlett Johansson is engaged, breaking the hearts of many hopeful to get closer to the sexy actress.
Scarlett's rep confirmed the news after she was spotted wearing suspicious bling at the Venice International Film Festival where she was promoting her newest film, "Under the Skin." Her boyfriend Romain Dauriac popped the question to the gorgeous Scarlett the past month, according to People, but not many people know who he is. Unlike the beauty's first engagement to Ryan Reynolds, whom she divorced after three years of marriage in 2011, the ring from Dauriac is pretty unexpected, especially since many people haven't heard of him before.
Since we know you are all dying to know who this mystery frenchman is, we've gathered some info that we thought you might think interesting.
1) Dauriac is a French journalist. He is the former editor of the French magazine "Clark," which specializes in urban art. He is now currently a manager of a creative agency.
2) He's not into social media. Although Romain has a Twitter account, he hasn't tweeted in over three years. However, he once tweeted his opinions on hip-hop. "Slick Rick, the best rapper ever?," he wrote.
3) Romain was introduced to Scarlett by tattoo artist Fuzi. He is one of Romain's good friends and is the one responsible for Scarlett's recent horseshoe tattoo.
4) He isn't the jealous type, or at least he can't be if Scarlett is agreeing to marry him. "I don't like jealous behavior," she told Marie Clarie in a past interview. "I don't mind an occasional check-in, but when somebody is passive-aggressively jealous, it's really unattractive because it shows a sort of insecurity."
