Satcha Pretto and her husband Aaron Butler have started the new year with some good news: They're pregnant! The host of Univision's "Despierta América" has a baby on board less than six months after her wedding. On Sunday, Jan. 19, Rodner Figueroa dropped hints on his entertainment show "Sal y Pimienta" that there would be a major announcement on the Jan. 21 show of "Despierta América." Surely enough, Figueroa kept his word with a jaw-dropping and exciting announcement.
The news of the pregnancy was revealed by Raúl González, Pretto's "Despierta América" co-host. Butler was present at the live announcement and surprised his expecting wife with flowers and mariachi. "I feel very relaxed," said Butler on the show. "Whatever would have bothered me before doesn't affect me anymore. I am very happy; very content with my wife and baby." And that wasn't all! There was more surprises in store for Emmy award-winning journalist, as the network flew in her mother and grandmother from the Honduras.
Pretto and Butler tied the knot in Barcelona last summer in front of close friends and family. The wedding, which took place at the W Hotel boasting unparalleled views, had many high-profile guests, including: Univision President César Conde, his wife Pamela Silva Conde, and "Sal y Pimienta's" Rodner Figueroa and Maity Interiano. Pretto wore a custom designed gown by Spanish designer Rosa Clará after reportedly falling in love with a piece when she opened a boutique in Miami. The couple, who were together for years before walking down the aisle, honeymooned in Capri, an island in the Tyrrheanian Sea off the Sorrentine Peninsula.
