Satcha Pretto and her husband Aaron Butler have welcomed a baby boy to this world. The "Despierta América" host made the announcement official on her Facebook page. "Now we really know true love," the post read. "Our son Bruce Aaron Butler was born on July 12 at 10:47 a.m. We are extremely thankful to God for giving us a little angel that is healthy and for giving us the privilege of becoming parents." A photo was attached to the message with both happy parents with the newborn in hands. Bruce Aaron comes after his parents wed less than a year ago in an extravagant celebration in Barcelona. Days earlier, Satcha commemorated the event writing: "Exactly 11 months ago we promised eternal love. Today we anxiously await de birth of our baby. We want to meet you son, hope you arrive soon."
Satcha confirmed on the Univision morning show that she was pregnant. The news of the pregnancy was revealed by Raúl González, Pretto's "Despierta América" co-host. Butler was present at the live announcement and surprised his expecting wife with flowers and mariachi. "I feel very relaxed," said Butler on the show. "Whatever would have bothered me before doesn't affect me anymore. I am very happy; very content with my wife and baby." And that wasn't all! There was more surprises in store for Emmy award-winning journalist, as the network flew in her mother and grandmother from the Honduras.
Pretto and Butler tied the knot in Barcelona last summer in front of close friends and family. The wedding, which took place at the W Hotel boasting unparalleled views, had many high-profile guests, including: Univision President César Conde, his wife Pamela Silva Conde, and "Sal y Pimienta's" Rodner Figueroa and Maity Interiano.Pretto wore a custom designed gown by Spanish designer Rosa Clará after reportedly falling in love with a piece when she opened a boutique in Miami. The couple, who were together for years before walking down the aisle, honeymooned in Capri, an island in the Tyrrheanian Sea off the Sorrentine Peninsula.
