Salma Hayek celebrated Women’s Entrepreneurship Day recently by sharing an inspiring post on Instagram. She is currently promoting her new movie that is also about two women who face the challenges of running a successful business.
Hayek dedicated her Instagram post on Women’s Entrepreneurship Day to all the “fierst” women who have started their own business and “who take action and empower each other! ” She shared a video clip from her new movie “Like A Boss” in the post, and the word “fierst” is from that film.
“Like A Boss” is comedy that has been directed by Miguel Arteta. It is about two friends with different ideals who go into business together. Hayek plays the role of the antagonist in the movie, and her character invests in the business of the two friends just to steal their ideas. The plot from there is about the two women fighting to get their company back.
“Like A Boss” will be released on January 10, 2020. The film stars Rose Byrne and Tiffany Haddish in the lead roles of Mia and Mel respectively. Some of the other cast members of the movie are Billy Porter, Jennifer Coolidge, and Karan Soni.
Hayek has multiple movies that are releasing next year. Her most anticipated role is in Marvel’s “Eternals,” which is her first superhero flick. Some of her other films that are releasing in 2020 are “Molly,” “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard,” and “Bliss.”
The 53-year-old actress isn’t slowing down, but there are challenges that she has to face that come with age. She has revealed that the biggest challenge she has been facing as she ages is bad eyesight, Yahoo reported. The actress said that having bad eyesight is worse than menopause.
Hayek used to have perfect eyesight, but that changed with age. The fact that she has to use glasses to read is “very stressful” for her.
