A video uploaded to YouTube and other social networks, has caused quite a controversy in Baja California, Mexico, after the recording revealed an alleged conversation between a representative of the National Action Party (PAN) and his presumed 15-year-old boyfriend.
Rubén Alanís Quintero is presented as the campaign coordinator for Francisco "Kiko" Vega, who's running for governor in Baja California, according to the Associated Press.

In the recording, broadcasted over the internet on Sunday, the representative from the PAN complains to the young boy about a photo that appeared on the Facebook wall of the politician. The picture only showed the 15-year-old, who tagged Alanís Quintero because he thought it was a nice picture and he should see it. What he didn't know is that his much older alleged boyfriend, isn't too familiar with social media, and his privacy settings are not very strict, so many people saw the photo and even called him up about it.
"The thing is, I uploaded the photo, I took it and uploaded it and tagged it. I don't know, I just thought about you in that moment," said the young boy, identified as Joel.
"Nice! I thought it was a nice gesture of you, but not on my wall!" Replied the politician, who wasn't aware that tagged pictures can come up on your wall.

The recording shows that, although the two hadn't met in person at the time, they were somehow in a "relationship."
"Now that I talked to you I feel much better and calm. I'm very respectful. I don't want to create any problems for you at home and I don't want any issues either. To be honest, I do want to meet you, I need to talk to you in person. Do you see what I do? Do you understand who I am now? That's why I gotta be very careful. That's all. But I wanna tell you that you can count on me. You can count on me for anything. I want to meet you. I want something serious. I think you're very smart, very down to earth. After talking to you I think you're someone worth of my time, and you're really cute. But all that is not a priority now. That's all I can offer," continued Alanís Quintero.
He went on about how he needs to watch out for his reputation, to which his alleged boyfriend replied: "Ok, but don't be mad at me. Did you know what I thought? That we're not going to be boyfriends anymore, that you had broken up with me."
The representative then said: "No, that wasn't it. You need to understand that I was scared too after seeing the photo there."

Things get a little bit more personal when "Joel" asks Alanís Quintero if he's going to play with his feelings or not, and begs him not to because he claimed to be very affected by the whole photo incident. After the politician told the young man not to worry, the following dialogue took place.
Joel: "So, are we going to be boyfriends?"
Alanís Quintero: "Yes, we'll see."
Joel: "It's a matter of yes or no."
Alanís Quintero: "Yes, yes, of course. I meant it."
The politician then asks about the boy's age, and tells him that it doesn't really matter but he just wants to know, to which the boy replies that he just turned 15.
After learning of the leaked recording, Alanís Quintero confirmed that the voice was in fact his, but that it was a set up from the opposition party since they're very close to elections.
He added that it was very obvious that it was fake, and he thinks that some people might have taken old phone conversations to create this one.
"Some people imitate voices, even with the little peculiarities. That wasn't my conversation, and I don't know the person who was at the other end. I've never treated them and I don't even know if it's in fact, a minor."
He denied any relationship with an underage person, and although he claims he doesn't want to be the victim, he's sure this is a set up from the opposition party because the PAN is most likely to win.
Below is the full conversation in Spanish. What do you think? Was he framed? Or is the conversation real?
