Mexican actor Rodrigo Vidal is making headlines for his erratic behavior towards his now ex-girlfriend Victoria Hernández. Vidal and Hernández had only been dating for a few months, and although they didn't live together, she spent most of her free time at the actor's house. You might remember Vidal for his appearances in many acclaimed telenovelas, such as "Dos Mujeres Un Camino," "María Isabel," "El Privilegio de Amar," "Amigas y Rivales," "Salomé," "Gata Salvaje," and most recently, "Rosario," as Father Bernardo. The actor usually kept a pretty low-key private life, and is recently divorced from Michelle Morán.
However, it all seemed perfect with him and Victoria until the night of Oct. 23, when a fight between the couple left the 34-year-old actress bruised and battered and on her way to the hospital. But, what exactly happened? According to TV Notas, Vidal has a neurotic and violent temperament and it allegedly got out of hands after experiencing a jealousy attack. Hernández reportedly confirmed the incident to the Mexican magazine, but refused to talk about it because she was afraid. She did say that the relationship between her and Vidal had been called off.
Nevertheless, the media outlet found a source close to the couple who did give an explanation over what had happened. "They had a serious confrontation at his place. Rodrigo couldn't hold back and brutally beat her, to the extent that he even dragged and kicked her. It was hell. He beat her with his fists all over her body, until he threw her to the ground and began kicking her without thinking about the consequences." It was also reported that Victoria lost consciousness for a while and blacked out. So far none of the parties involved have released an official statement.
