One of the hottest teams across the globe, Real Madrid hopes to keep their recent string of success going when they take on Juventus in UEFA Champions League action. Pacing Group B by earning a total of 9 points in 3 matches, Cristiano Ronaldo and the nine-time UCL champs have been absolutely dominant, collecting three wins, registering 12 goals and only surrendering 2 tallies to their respective opponents.
Previously meeting on October 23, Real Madrid and Juventus squared off in a match-up between two of the biggest soccer clubs in the world. Thanks to a pair of goals in the opening half from Cristiano Ronaldo, Los Blancos were able to hold on for a 2-1 victory against a Juventus squad that has proven to be extremely competitive this season. Earning wins in 4 of their last 6 matches, Juventus hopes they're able to become the first team to take down Real Madrid in the First Phase of the Champions League. The task will certainly be difficult however since Madrid has rattled off two-straight wins while also claiming six of their last seven matches overall, with the only loss in that stretch coming to Lionel Messi's Barcelona squad.
Following the upcoming trip to Juventus Stadium, Real Madrid will battle Real Sociedad and Almeria in La Liga action before returning to their Champions League slate at the Bernabeu against Galatasaray.
Juventus - coming off a 1-0 defeat of Serie A rival Parma - will host Napoli on November 10 before making a trip to Armando Picchi for a league clash with Livorno. Juve will return to Champions League action on November 27 when they host FC Copenhagen at Juventus Stadium.
