Princess Beatrice's wedding date will finally be announced after Queen Elizabeth gave the “go” signal. When the princess and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi revealed their engagement in September, it was reported that they were not allowed to say the date of their nuptials yet and that Her Majesty was the one who stopped them from doing so.

According to The Daily Mail, at long last, Her Majesty said that they can now reveal the details of their wedding including the date. Mozzi and Princess Beatrice are expected to make an announcement during the second week of January 2020.

While the wedding date has yet to be disclosed, there are reports that state it is taking place in early June. Queen Elizabeth will allow such date as long as it will not get in the way of the Royal Ascot 2020, her favorite royal event, which will begin on June 16.

A royal source was quoted saying, "The date has been described as early summer, just before the summer social season kicks off."

Another thing that's yet to be announced is the wedding's venue. They initially chose the Guard’s Chapel in St. James’ Park where Camilla and her ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles wed in 1973, however, there is already a long line of couples on the waiting list thus they could not even get a vacant date there.

Meanwhile, it was believed that Queen Elizabeth initially refused to let Princess Beatrice announce her wedding date due to the issues the Royal Family was facing. To be more specific, Prince Andrew’s connection to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, hence, they've been trying to lie-low for a while. Prince Andrew has already resigned from his royal duties and it is yet to be confirmed as to whether or not he will be walking his daughter down the aisle.
